Having finally made it to the Easter break, I am off on my travels for 10 days with a friend. This means all allotment responsibilities fall to my long suffering other half.
There is still a lot of digging required and the potatoes need to be put in. Looks like he has a busy few days ahead!
The chickens are doing well – Peggie is still swanning about with minimal feathers on her front. We hope that the quail will take a hint from the chickens and start laying soon!
I am also hoping that one of our chickens goes broody – bring on breeding our own chickens! We are currently arguing between the blue laced wyandotte and vorwerks – any suggestions or comments welcome!
