A New Friend

Everyone was on site today – another sign that it’s definitely spring! I chatted with everyone as I walked across to my plot. Cliff was down with his beautiful dog, Dolly. She’s nearly a year old and despite being much much bigger than when I last saw her, Dolly remains an energetic ball of fur with a lovely temperament.

Cliff keeps several toys for Dolly at the allotment to keep her busy. I spent a wonderful half hour playing fetch with Dolly. She never tired of running after the toy and had so much energy to spare she would run up and down several times before handing over the toy. Dolly keeps Cliff on his toes with her endless energy and all the rest of us laughing at her antics!
