I had a lovely message this evening from Cat at Duster’s Ark. She had been out to complete a home check for Tommy’s new home. The new home passed with flying colours! He will be living in a massive field with proper fox-proof fencing and a lovely large house to roost in.
Although he doesn’t have any girls to look after yet, he is enjoying settling into his new home. The lady who has adopted him is going to rescue several ex-commerical hens over the next few days for Tommy to look after.
Walking into the main coop isn’t the same without him there but I am comforted by the knowledge he will have an amazing life with his new girls.
