Busy times

So its Thursday evening. It has been a very long week and the weather is terrible. Good news is that the skip arrived at the allotment this morning and the huge pile of rubbish from our new plot is gone!

Plan for Saturday is as follows: box in bed for chicken food crops (by the chicken coop), finish clearing the fruit cage, transplant the fruit bushes onto old plot, and do more digging (ideally another quarter of the plot). Oh and start to build the coop extension…

But before anything else, wellies! The mud levels are rising rapidly, and already trainers or other such footwear are not suitable. Off to the shop for their best two pairs of wellies first thing Saturday morning!
