I had a missed call from Geoff this evening. When I called back, it turned out that one of his chickens is being quite severely picked on by the girls higher up in the pecking order. What makes it worse, is the bullied bird is then picking on the two youngest birds. Geoff has run out of ideas and patience with the constant fighting and has kindly offered her to us!
Promising to give her a good home, we agreed to move her tomorrow into the greenhouse with Leia and Lilja. Quite how this will turn out is unknown. Leia is a complete princess and doesn’t like being with more than one chicken whilst Lilja is scared of everything and everyone. This should be interesting…
