Lunch

Today I ambled down to the allotment with a few minor jobs in mind. I arrived and fed all the chickens. Every single one of them shouted at me, like I could stop the cold wind or make it warmer! I collected five eggs from the main coop and one from Roxy in the greenhouse.

Eggs successfully collected, I turned my attention to other important matters. Lunch. I have been promising myself I would make myself a lunch and try out the new table. Putting the stove on is always fun plus it provides a wonderful hear source on cold days! In a few minutes it was ready – tomato soup and wholemeal bread washed down with a hot chocolate and a couple of biscuits. The green chair was a perfect height for the table. There is something about eating outside that makes food taste much better.

After lunch, I carried on with some smaller jobs for my big project – full reveal tomorrow!
