Testing the Lights

We got rather waylaid today and ended up feeding the chickens in the dark after they had all gone to bed. When we arrived, my husband collected the food bowls and checked on the chickens while I messed around with the lights in the shed. These solar powered lights were a Christmas present and one I had been meaning to try out over the past few days. I was worried they weren’t working when I tried them yesterday but it must have been too bright to see that they were on!

Tonight, they looked amazing! It makes the shed feel so cosy and welcoming. Also, it’s helpful, providing light around the front of the shed so you don’t blunder into anything or trip over something in the dark because you forgot a torch (and your phone died!). Quite simply, a fantastic present!
