So the last couple of days have been well and truly rained off. It means that the weedy section up to the fruit bushes is still weedy and again the bees go unchecked. I have managed to hoe the top section of the plot which looks distinctly better now.
Steve and I tried to check them yesterday but the heavens opened just as we were opening the first hive. We quickly closed it up and beat a hasty retreat to the bee shed. After about 10 mins, we gave up and left it for another day.
The rain is great because it means I might be able to actually dig over the weedy section of the plot.
